Bollywood actors Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao are stepping into one of life’s most beautiful chapters: parenthood.
Patralekhaa, who is currently in her second trimester, recently shared candid details about her pregnancy during a conversation on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast.

During the podcast, Soha Ali Khan asked the actress whether her pregnancy was planned or a surprise. Patralekhaa shared a story that left listeners smiling. “I had never visited a gynaecologist before. One day, I thought I should just go,” she said. What followed was a moment of pure shock. “She told me, ‘You are pregnant.’ Rajkummar and I just froze and said, ‘What?’” she recalled.

Every pregnancy comes with its quirks, and for Patralekhaa, it was cravings that took centre stage for a while.
The actress revealed, “For about two weeks, I could only think about vada pav. And I’ve never even been a vada pav person!”
Patralekhaa also opened up about how supportive Rajkummar Rao has been during this time. “Raj is amazing. He doesn’t tell me what to eat or what to do. He lets me be myself, but I can feel how much he cares,” she said.

The actress also spoke about maintaining her fitness during pregnancy. “Fitness has been a part of my life since I was ten. I worked out every day, right up until I conceived. It keeps me balanced and happy,” she shared.

The couple announced Patralekhaa’s pregnancy in July 2025.
